Muslim Man Kills His Wife and Buries His Kids…Alive

I had a friend pass this story along to me. Pretty fascinating – not sure if it’s true but check it out and let me know what you think!

A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8-year-old daughter.  The girls were buried alive! Then He reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. Fifteen days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand – ALIVE!

The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed.  The older girl was asked how she had survived and she said, ‘A man wearing shiny clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister.’

She was interviewed on Egyptian National TV, by availed Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, ‘This was none other than JESUS, because nobody else does things like this!’ Muslims believe Isaac (JESUS) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it’s clear also that He is alive! But, it’s also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle.

Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn’t help! With Egypt at the center of the media and education in the Middle East, you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still turning the world upside down! Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, ‘I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.

In my research to see if this story is actually true or not, I came across this explanation on a blog. What do you think – can we Christians stretch the truth in an attempt to make the already power of the gospel appear more powerful?

  1. Nick, Aimee Semple McPherson is quoted as saying “tell a little lie for Jesus” but if the truth is what sets us free than we simply must be honest in our stories! The truth of this story can be found on http://www.snopes.com/glurge/buried.asp and sadly Snopes.com says it isn’t true.

    If we tell a little lie for Jesus we impugn everything we have to say. So to answer your question, no we cannot stretch the truth.

      1. Shimrit: Notice that the site you referenced does NOT give a link to the source for their quote.

        It appears that the rest of the page is factual, first-hand information but the first paragraph has the story in quotes ended with “says the [unnamed] source.” That in its self is almost the same as saying, “We cannot verify this. We just read it somewhere but we do not have a link to prove it.”

        Possibly, they read it in one of the forwarded emails.

    2. I have found Snopes to be less than accurate in many areas. If the story is not true and someone told a little lie for Jesus that’s something that we may have to learn to live around, people lie. In the same breath we need to consider the leanings of those at Snopes. They have been known to be liberals and push the liberal agenda. Many times you hear liberals spouting about their non-belief in God or his providence on the earth. I honestly don’ t know if this is true or not, but I do not put any credibility to snopes regarding this report. Many times their research is based on their intellect and most that use their intellect to combat the word of God are successful at deceiving those that are struggling in life.

      Believe snopes if you must, but take it with a grain of salt as they are biased in more ways than one. Remember, they are not on the internet for truth but for money and the love of money is the root of all evil.

      I am not disputing your quote but I have searched on Google without finding it anywhere.   2. Who is talented enough to make up such a story. Why should anyone be surprised that people won’t believe it. When He walked the earth before He was crucified, they would not believe. Even though they saw what He did, yet they accused Him of tricking the people by claiming that the blind man was never blind. Some say they can’t prove its true, but those very same people cant prove its not! Who is like Jesus?

  3. Well, If one is really a Christian and has read and understood the Bible ,Miracles like this should not surprise one. God knows the hearts of those who truely want to serve Him. And all over the world, especially Africa and parts of the Middle East, God is manifesting His Power daily with Miracles , signs and wonders. Where there is a hunger for God, thats where his Glory will be manifested. Its as simple as that.. I have been a Believer for over thirty years and have SEEN dozens of them, but in places like the Caribbean and other countries. Jesus is on the way. Watch out for more. better yet, do like I do, and PRAY for greater manifestations of His Power and Glory.!I will ‘blow your mind, the things God will do>

      1. I totally agree with your comment Bonnie. We are so lucky that we know we are unique in God’s eyes like these two girls. There is nothing impossible for our Lord and He can do anything, everything is possible for Him. He did great miracles during His time on earth and why can’t He save the girls. This is maybe a a way He gave this Father a chance to repent and He has reveal that He lives by saving these girls so that the Father would turn and believe Him. I really believe in what has happened to the girls, and I love my Lord.

  6. well said lilian, jesus stands for truth and to even stretch it defeats what he stood for. God never lies and told us to be like so. People of God should never use the tactics of satan. If someone becomes a christian because of a lie then it is a victory for the devil, not for people who believe in God.

  8. It always seems to amaze me the things that can be said and forwarded around the world, and believed without any actual evidence to support the story. Stories of this nature are made up to try to raise one religion over another and to further the fear of someone that has different beliefs and looks from your own. The people that read and believe this without any documentation to support it perpetuate the stereo type of the stupid American. Yes there are extremes in the Muslim religion as there are in the Christian faith, the person responsible for stories like this are the extreme in the Christian since they are making false statments to bring hatred against a religion in order make theirs seem better. Not all Muslims hate or wish to harm Americans and Christians, and this is not something that the conservative Christian groups would want the masses to hear. I was raised in the Christian church and since growing and actually starting to ask questions and think for myself have realized that more than half of what was told to me as a child and teen was misrepresented in the hopes of “keeping me in line”. Take the time to learn about other cultures before you start making false acusations because of your fear of the color of their skin or the clothes that they wear. We as Christians are generally the most hypocritical of any faith, the Bible is twisted and used out of context in order to make us feel better about not living by it in full as most are led to believe. The Koran is very similar to the Old Testament and most Americans would never believe that. They have many of the same stories and yes Muslims actually believe Jesus was real and respect his role. They may believe that he was a prophet and not the son of God, but then again there are many different faiths under the Christian umbrella that don’t believe in the Trinity or have the exact same views on many aspects of the faith. Why can’t the people that claim to represent the one true God show themselves to others the way the this God would want them to, not by judging and hating others but by learning to love and accept those that are different from them. Please if you read this and just take one thing from it please let it be to become educated on what you speak about.

  14. Hey don’t believe everything you read on Snopes, it’s bent news just like CNN, ABC, CBS, etc…the same reason you-know-who just made president elect in the USA. I read that yep, you guessed it, BO has links in funding SNOPES.com, so he can have them bend it his way and any which way he likes it. Besides, do you really believe they have honest news stations over there where Muslim’s reign over the news like Liberals over here reign over the news? DUH. It’s “free” control of the press. I believe this certainly could have happened wether there is proof or not, don’t trust man, trust God. Plus don’t believe this gives Christians a bad name just because you haven’t seen proof.     Whether that validates the story or not I don’t really know.

    What I do know is that I believe that Jesus is my eternal saviour and that my God is still a miracle working god today as He was in the pages of His word – that said, it disappoints me greatly that some Christians choose to perpetuate false stories to try to further His kingdom as it really does ruin the credibility of Christianity and the real miracles that occur. Instead of furthering His kingdom on Earth, it does a huge amount of damage and shows Christians to be liars which makes it seem like they are grasping for anything to support a belief which really has no substance.

    I don’t know if this article is truth or not – there is no substantial evidence that it’s made up and there would almost certainly be those who would benefit from an event like this being concealed – not like it can’t be done. And one day, we will have to rely soley on the word of our brothers and sisters for truth of these things as there will be no truth to be found anywhere else.

    For now…I choose to check and be careful what I pass along to others as truth.

  20. Miracles like this is possible but the story has to be documented proved and established. Can we remember if it was shown on TV or the media when it supposedly happened? Can EGypt National TV prove from its archives the exact date/time of the interview with his daughter? Check for yourselves with the TV station and you will know the answer. If this story has been falsely fabricated and circulated then God help the devil.

    1. This in rsponse to Mary’s earlier post. urbanlegends.about.com was just as irresponsible in their comments and judgements as Snopes concerning this article. They made the same judgement by saying that because they didn’t see any verifications proving the story was true, that meant it that it HAD to be a lie. That’s irresponsible for anyone to say and be credible. All this really means is that no one has gotton off of their dead lazy backsides to look it up! Here’s the deal though when someone finds the tv newscast it will have to be interpreted-has anyone thought about that? We won’t be able to understand what the reporter says anyway…..and if someone does have the foresight to put it on so people can see it will they then just say that it was altered?

  23. Whether it’s true or not is less relevant than the real question, “How did this impact you?” Did it cause you to love God or hate God? Did it cause you to lament the soul of the alleged perpetrator or accuse him? Did it cause you to judge or to pray? Did it sow seeds of superiority or intercession for those who may not know the Light?

    Once the kind of seed sown is uncovered, then the revelation of who is being glorified becomes evident. This story is less about the participants and more about each individual who encounters it.

    I think that the point of these stories is more figurative than literal. As well-intending as it may be, if this isn’t a true story, it’s not ok to lie.

  24. I’m a very Christian Christian but would have to go with the sceptics. I could not imagine Jesus doing something which could cause friction between Islam and Christianity. Jesus wants peace and unity! If such a miracle were to occur for some reason, it would be Allah or Muhammad that would have presided to confirm that it is not an Islamic sin to read the Christian Bible. And why would such a miracle occur when there are Billions suffering much more terribly in the world.

  27. Although the story is truly inspiring and heart-warming, it is simply not true. When people are brought to God by stories such as these, only later to find that they are simple not true, but passed on by naive persons, then we lie. There is no good lie. I have extensively researched this story for any truth and it simply was never published, but made up by someone who passed it off as truth. YES, Jesus performed MANY miracles, but this is not one of them. When we pass on the Good News of Christ, we must be sure that we are genuine and that are actions can never be contradicted or else we lose focus and meaning to that which are sharing. Faith without works is dead, so passing along false stories of miracles is also “dead.” Faith is not based on lies, but on belief and if we lie, then how are we to share faith? There are plenty of REAL miracles to pass on that are true and can be proven and-or documented to share with non-believers, but to share a story to a non-believer that is false is simply not spreading the Good News, but merely planting a bad seed in the minds of the potential believers that will one day cause distrust, disbelief, and therefore, defeat the very purpose of that which God has called us to do. Furthermore, it will create a vicious cycle of prejudice in the principles of Christ. There are other ways to bring non-believers into the “flock” and telling lies or passing along made-up stories simply isn’t one of them. So, next time someone sends you a story that sounds too good to be true, research it to prove its authenticity instead of being a naive, gullible victim of someone else’s hoax! Spread the TRUE Gospel of Christ and share the “REAL” miracles that have been witnessed and credibly documented, so that we, as Christians, do not give anyone a reason to doubt our faith. Faith is truth and truth is love. Love is truth and the Greatest of all is love. (I Corinthians 13:13) Share the things that non-believers can never prove false and therefore leave the flock or worse, spread the lies that were told to them by a “Christian” that didn’t know any better. It is better to be somewhat cautious when reading stories such as these and instead of focusing our energy passing along made-up stories (for whatever the reason), we would benefit others so much better by passing on the REAL Miracles of Christ with references that cannot be disputed. Peace, love, and joy ever-lasting by fellow friends in Christ!

  28. well said, dar, mark owen and faithful (and some others)! i once thought i had a strong believe in god, never mind which religion. but it is news such as these, and the way they are propagated as immediate truths, that has brought me farther and farther away from god and traditional religion. i just can’t accept that believers in their honest intentions can be so fallen. we are in a modern world where information can be analysed and filtered before judgement, yet, the moment they seem to be in our favor, they become immediate truths. miracles can happen, but if it is just to instill more bad than good, then heck, god must be playing games. yeah, maybe god is just having a good laugh at all of us, puny little creations. so much suffering in some and yet so much pleasure in others. i still have a corner in my heart for the serious god, and help me please, for news or stories like these are just not it.

  29. snopes only states their interpretation that it is false because they cannot document that it did happen. Truthfully, they should state “unknown” because they can’t find proof either way. That has become a blight in this email world today, with people forwarding stories that no one can prove, and websites like snopes only making things worse by stating it is false because they cannot document it either way. It does NOT mean it did not happen, only that they were unable to document it.

I just have a question?? and lets be realistic ok. none of that fairy tale/ bible tale whatever stories that people have been making up for thousands of years. if they had the technology back then, these stories would have never existed in first place. but anyways, let’s be realistic, i know we’ve all been to school and graduated. so scientifically speaking, our planet isn’t the only planet that exist in the galaxy right? who knows how many planets and galaxies there are out there, so here’s my question… is there a God for every planet thats out there? or is it just one God for the whole galaxy.? how does that work? and i dont pray to science like Tom Cruise does, whatever that religion is… but i know when a story is made up (THE BIBLE) it says in the bible that god created earth and man and animals after seven days or whatever.. but here’s a fact, dinosaurs roamed the earth way before man existed so who created them??

    I am not an atheist, muslim etc. i do not worship the devil, or satan, which also does not exist… none of it exist. heaven or hell or angels.. none of it

  34. The snopes.com site said they could not confirm it due to no news reports surfacing in Egypt. In a muslim country, would you be surprised if it is not published? The story was also told by AIM’s missionaries that was in Egypt then, they had contact with the family and said they know the facts.
    Indeed as a Christian we should question what is true and what not, but even if you decide not to believe it, it does sound like our Jesus doesn’t it? If you really want to know if it’s true, ask Jesus. Maybe some people would like more proof but that should be enough for you as a Christian.

    Dar is right in the fact that Christians should start being the people of God we believe in, we’re slacking. I know muslims more dedicated than most Christians, what a slap in the face. Stop looking for worldly facts and ask the creator himself, at least you know He wont lie to you…

Romans 3;7-8 The word of God says “7Someone might argue, ‘If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am i still condemned as a sinner?’ 8 Why not say-as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say- ‘let us do evil that good may result’? Their condemnation is deserved.” Very straight and forward God tells us through the apostle Paul that it is not ok to bear false witness, even for the sake of good. Though Jesus died, paying the ultimate price for our sins, giving us the gift of God’s forgiveness and eternal life, we are not exempt from the laws of Moses(most familiar the ten commandments), Jesus said himself he did not come to take away from what was already established(matt5;17-20) but to sum them up into 2 basic commandments 1)Love God 2)love your neighbor. (matt22;37-40) to further define loving your neighbor as yourself he also says to love each other as he loves us(john13;34). But by his grace we are saved through our faith in Jesus Christ(eph2;8) so that when God leads us to repent(rom2;4) you will be forgiven(mar3;28) I don’t doubt the power of Jesus, whether this story is valid or not is yet to be settled, but even if he didn’t show up this time, he is in our hearts, and on his way coming on a cloud(Act1;11) GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I very close friend of mine was diagnosed HIV positive, she was a true beleiver,she asked di doctor if miracles were possible, di doctor replied”i’m a christian but miracles don’t happen nowadays,we left di hospital and went to di church we told di pastor wat di problem was and we asked him if miracles were possible he said yes,dat God is di same yesterday, today and forever, he started prayin for di girl and she drank holy water from di church, a year later dis same doctor diagnosed her negative to di test yet he couldn’t beleive he calls di girl to ask her how she is and if she’s feelin fine, till today di girl is well and married.

  41. I am amazed at the emotional response to a story. I believe with all my heart in Jesus, the Christ. If the storyteller really had clean intentions he would have offered proper data, which could be easily verified. No significant data can be found and a copy of a copy still gives nothing to examine the source. The storyteller might enjoy the discussion and if he is a real man or woman with integrity he/she could confess that it only was a “nice” story or better yet, give names, times, locales and media details to substantiate it.

  42. I am amazed at the emotional response to what might be just a story. If the storyteller is sincere, he/she could easily have provided data to substantiate it. Since no data exists, only a copy of a copy, it is likely that it was a fabrication. What counts here is the intent of the storyteller. One can assume that his/her motive was to boost one faith over another and that in itself is counterproductive to unity and peace on this planet.

  43. I have searched for this interview through the internet with out any luck. I truely belive that God does miracles till this day. He has showed me his powerful hand in more than one occasion. But I too believe that not every thing that people speak is true or in this case write is true. I am not a follower of man. I follow Christ. God is a God of truth there is no lie in him. If this hapened it is a wonderful thing cause that little girl got to see her savior face to face. But I also believe it should not be passed around as a factual event when there is no proof of this. As christians we are to seek the truth. It would be a shame for someones faith to be strengthen because of this story only to discover it was a lie in the future. What will it do in the end to that person? If the story is a fact Amen. I believe God can do anything but if this was true there would be a link or one would atleast find it on the Egyptian news paper, and it is not.

Just a few months ago, Japan had a 8.9 earthquake and in the midst of massive rubble and thousands dead, they found a 4 month year old baby who was not even harmed. For those of you who don’t know about babies, they must feed every 3 – 4 hours. Who fed this baby for the days that she was separated from her family? It was as if the baby was protected from all of this devastation. If that is not a miracle then what is?     Just a way to to steal email contacts, I wish this was true, that would be a miracle, unfortunately this is nothing but SPAM !!!!

  51. You know i am not a person that plays with god or jesus. I dont go to church all the time but unfortunately there are people that do and they want to call themself christians. And act like they do lie hurt other and then go to church on sunday and act like nothing happened. Well for all you so called christians out there god knows what you do in church as well as out side of church. So stop downing other people and get on your knees and as got for forgivness becouse judgment day will come you you will have to acount for what you do and say.

  52. Neither Christianity nor Islam come into this story at all. The man is a murderer and should be executed and denied any religious burial.
    As for the child, if it happened then so be it, if it did not people need to stop using war and hatred to suit themselves.

    Scum that is what the world is fast becoming full off. If you are religious (any religion) you will cherish everything on this earth other than evils like this thing we call a man.
    If you need to tell the world you are this religion or that religion, you are none. Your decency and humanity will show you for the good person you are, your religion/religious beliefs will look after you. Atheists that do not harm/hurt others will also be considered humane and decent by the people of the world.

    Otherwise the world does not need you and if you end things tomorrow, no matter, we (the peace full people of the world) will not miss you or think of you.

  56. i really believe in this story because Jesus can do anything even more than this story and I belive Philips’ Jesus was there on the fire together with those three men and why can’t He save these child of a woman who tried to go to Jesus. she was reading the bible. that story was true and I believe it. as the bible said blessed are they that believe without seing. I LOVE U LORD JESUS AND I KNOW U WILL BE COMING SOON TO TAKE YOUR PEOPLE INCLUDING US GENTILES. I LOVE U LORD. FORGIVE THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE AND SAVE THEM THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND WHERE THEY ARE HEADING (GATE OF HELL) PLEASE SAVE THEM.   60. I hope this story is true. I looked all over SNOPES and could not see that this was one of theirs. I believe miracles are in our world today so this is not hard for me to believe. Jesus loves the little children and I know he cares for them in a special way. I pray for all unbelievers that have commented on this site and if you are open enough for a possibility that this may be true, God can show you a sign. If unhappiness and doubt or fear has overtaken you in any way, just give God a chance to show you His goodness and you will not believe the joy and peace which comes from his mercy. Just give Him a chance to prove you wrong and He will do it in such a way, that you will never understand how you could have doubted. With love, Marilyn
