Last night I just finished a pre-print draft of a new book by Scotty Gibbons, youth pastor at James River Assembly in Ozark, MO. If any of you are in youth ministry or know someone that is, this is an excellent book! It supposed to be going to print in the next week, so it will probably be a couple months until it’s available. But be on the look-out for it! In the book, Scotty shares many of the lessons he’s learned on his journey through youth ministry over the last 15 years. He’s actually taken his youth ministry from 15 students to well over 1,000 students today! What an impact!!

The book is great! I had read half of the book the same day I bought it. Scotty’s personality really comes out as well as his teaching style; he tells a story, captivates and pulls in the audience, then BAM! relates a principle or a lesson with real-life example and application.
There is so much to pull from the pages, and much wisdom to learn. I cannot wait to finish it.
