Good Friday

Today is Friday.

Good Friday.

But is it really good?

It’s just another day.

But it’s not just another day.

It’s the day a price was paid for my very soul.

Today is considered good not because of anything I have done.

It is considered good because of the death of a great man.

And not just any great man.

The very Son of God.

How can this be good?

It is my death.

I am the one that deserves death.

But He gave His life.

He is the one that experienced death.

And I received life.

It’s backwards.

But it’s truth.

Today is Friday. And today is Good.
