Working Hard

I was reading in my One Year Bible this morning and was reminded of the importance of hard work in ministry by the verse below.  There’s a quote I love that goes along the same lines.  It says, “Pray like everything depends on God.  Work like everything depends on you.” I would challenge you, pastor, to work hard.  That doesn’t mean you throw away your time to work.  Work efficiently, but work hard.  God has called us to be leaders who model hard work.  Don’t be known as the ‘lazy pastor’.  Allow your passion for God and the lost to show through your efforts!

“Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.”
