As Christians, we are to be continually looking for opportunities to show the practical love of Christ to the world around us. Opportunities convey the potential of a situation. There is the ‘what could be’…or the ‘what should be’.
I believe with all my heart that we, as Christ-followers, are to see potential in every person and situation, however, we shouldn’t settle for just identifying opportunities or just seeing potential in a person. That’s only half the battle.
I believe God has called us to be more then just dreamers, but revolutionaries. We are not to just see ‘what could be’ but we are to advance ‘what will be’. God is a god of action not just intention. I challenge you (and myself included) to think through – are you simply looking for opportunities or are you seizing victories?
