I read a blog post by a friend a few months ago about a ‘Quarterlife Crisis’ and it caused me to analyze my own life and journey. I’ve often wondered, is this all life is meant to be? Are my current experiences the entirety of my life’s mission?
Now don’t get me wrong, I have been blessed with a very full and fulfilling life over my 27 years. Although the journey hasn’t always been smooth sailing, it’s been much more than I deserve! With that said, I’ve come to the conclusion that the fulfillment of my life up to this point will not sustain me for the next 27 years. There has to be more. More experiences. More people. More challenges. And in that conviction, I will continue to strive for what’s next. That doesn’t mean making drastic changes to my current journey, but what it means is seeking out the adventures of life in the mundane and seemingly routine. Looking for opportunities to experience the wonder and awe of God in my everyday life.
